AN INTERACTIVE MEMORIAL to Steve Jobs has been removed following Apple CEO Tim Cook’s statement last week in which he revealed he is gay.
The memorial was erected outside a technical college in St. Petersburg by Russian by a Russian group of businesses known as ZEFS, before being dismantled and removed on Friday.
In a statement, the group said they were removing the memorial so as to adhere to a law banning “gay propaganda” enacted by President Vladimir Putin in 2013.
After Apple CEO Tim Cook publicly called for sodomy, the monument was taken down to abide to the Russian federal law protecting children from information promoting denial of traditional family values.
Tim Cook came out publicly last week in a piece written for Bloomberg in which he stated he was “proud to be gay”.
